What I do when I want to get back together..(as a dismissive avoidant)

I will make indirect but consistent contact.

I may not directly express feelings of missing you or suggest reuniting, but I often hint at it through indirect means such as sharing memes or engaging in casual conversations. This is a consistent approach. It may not be direct, but it's the best I can do at the moment.


I want to spend time together.

If l am asking to spend time, hang out, and do something in person, this is showing I want to reignite our connection.


I may try to behave differently to get your attention.


I'm all about showing off a better me, fixing past mistakes, and taking care of all of the stuff that pissed you off in the first place.


Prior to rekindling a relationship with a partner, it is important to engage in an open conversation, irrespective of attachment style, to avoid making the same mistakes as before. Address any unfulfilled needs and come up with a plan to fulfill them. Effective communication is crucial for a successful relationship; otherwise, the same patterns may recur.
